Caught Driving Without Insurance
Traffic Tickets January 29th. 2008, 2:50pmThere are several actions that might be taken against you when an officer catches you driving without insurance. A first offense for this charge carries a minimum fine of $5000.00 and a maximum fine of $20 000. The second time you are charged with driving without insurance, you
face a $10 000 minimum fine and up to $50 000.
This is of course nothing compared to what might happen should you unfortunately get caught in an accident and have no insurance to declare. That would mean that all expenses resulting from damages incurred in the collision would be your responsibility.
Legal Action’s Traffic Tickets Toronto paralegal team understands these matters that most people tend to take too casually. We are here as your legal representatives to make sure you do not end up in serious financial debt. Contact us and get Legal Action.

[...] Insurance companies serve an important role in Canadian society and to put them at risk is a real headache. Many circumstances may jeopardize your insurance. As stated in the Highway Traffic Act, all vehicles driven on highways must be insured and there are high fines attached to being caught driving without insurance. [...]

Hi, my case is like this , I have had insurance and had no issues for 5 years, one day my new car had issues and couldnt get it out, so i took out my old car and put my new cars license plate onto the old car and took it out due to my wife’s specialist appointment which she has to go otherwise she cannot be left without midicine and she did not have midicine as well. so heading on the road police caught me and give me ticket for not having insurance, license plate and sticker and improper seat built for which i have excuse for seatbuilt was broken.. Any advise or anything you can do other than getting a deal in pre trial? please let me know. Thanks. I also called my insurance company in the same time police caught me and changed my insurance to my old car which i was driving.

Look, all you people without insurance and fancy excuses: GET INSURANCE and DON’T drive without!!!! Otherwise you’re making fools out of the rest of us RESPONSIBLE motorists! And one day it will happen to YOU and you will be PISSED! My collector car was recently totalled by an uninsured driver. To add insult to injury this guy was in a german luxury SUV!! How can you afford that and NOT afford insurance??!!
Now *I* have to sort all this out with *MY* insurance company and probably take a stupid-low value for the car. Or I have to sue the guy personally.
Do *I* have endless time to do research NO!, I don’t.
Do *I* have endless time and money to hire lawyers? NO!, I don’t.
So be RESPONSIBLE! Get insurance!
One day it will be YOU on the receiving end and you WILL be pissed off!
