Charges for Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol
Criminal Charges February 6th. 2008, 4:55pmUnder Canadian law, the result of a conviction in the case of drinking and driving (DUI/DWI) can be truly horrible. That is why we at Legal Action sincerely urge you to seek legal counsel before you plead guilty to any charge related to DUI/DWI. This is especially true for people who rely on
driving as a livelihood because a conviction for impaired driving, driving over 80 milligrams, dangerous driving, and similar charges can result in a 1 year suspension of your driver’s license as well as a criminal record.
If your blood alcohol is over 80 milligrams (over .08) then you face serious challenges unless you hire a competent legal representative. Please contact us for a free consultation – we could be your legal help in your legal crisis!

Hi,
I was charged with three offences last night:
1.Impaired Operation of a motor Vehicle
2.Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
3.Drive over 80
I was wondering if this is a winnable case.I was driving home from Brampton to Oakville i had 3 pints of beer and suddenly a car changed lanes and i lost control i was taken to the hospital and taken a breathalyzer therefore i am wondering if these charges can be dropped

i was charged on saturday morn of april 12 with over 80 and speeding from 1-45 over. my licence is my livelyhood as i am a truck driver. this is my first offence and the only reason i was out is because my wife left me and took the kids also and i just wanted to talk to her. now i am without my licence and i cannot provide for me or my children. i have a clean record and i dont do this ever. i just made a mistake because i love my family. what should i do? do i have a leg to stand on? i blew a 150 and then a 140. the police just kept telling me to get a lawyer. please respond quickly. thankyou so kindly. david

just contacting you for a loved one of mine that is being charged with impaired, impaired over 80 and stunt driving, how is it possible for someone to be deemed stunt driving for losing control of a vehicle (actually listed on the ticket as losing contact with highway)where the roadway went from being gravel to paved…..and hitting a tree. I am not sure of what stunt driving is, and when the question was asked by the officer stunt driving was not even explained, i am CONFUSED as to what stunt driving actually is and not what some “NEW POLICE OFFICER” THINKS IT IS….please help this would be very much appreciated, not sure if u should endure in legal action or let this ride out????thanks!
