Traffic Tickets for Improper Turns
Traffic Tickets January 24th. 2008, 2:14pm
The following are several instances where a traffic officer can lawfully charge a driver with an improper turns traffic ticket:
- This traffic violation is usually applied when a driver fails to make a turn at a traffic signal or intersection without taking the necessary steps that go with the turn.
- The charge is also applicable if the driver fails to make the turn from the correct lane. An example would be when making a right turn from the left lane of the street.
- The law also requires a driver to make use of the turn signal starting from several meters before the turning point.

What about accidentally turning in a bus station area. The person (not cop) advised me he let me off as a caution, but took my information down and never gave a ticket, Is this under the traffic act to be on my abstract? and could i get something in the mail?

Andy,
Offences appear on your drivers abstract only after you have been convicted in court or your license has been suspended. The suspension will appear on record if you have received a suspension for drinking and driving, unpaid fines or the seven day suspension for stunt driving.
